Here at Browns NC Mastiffs we strive to do the right thing by our dogs first and their breed second. Our dogs are a loving and cherished part of our family. We do not believe in kennels, our babies live in the house with our family, raised right along side of our children. To us they are Family and are treated as such. And unlike other breeders our babies are not some dispensable commodity, they live their entire lives with us.
Our Mission
1. To try to eliminate health problems by eliminating inbreeding: The cause of most health & genetic health problems. All of our parents
are hand picked from healthy non-inbred lines. All of our dogs are healthy and
we will never breed a dog that is not.
2. To produce a gentle natured, lovable giant baby, that has the ability to protect if needed:
By breeding together two dogs that are themselves this way.
3. To produce puppies that have a shorter hair coat:
We have found that the shorter coat looks & feels better. Dogs
produced with this coat, shed less and are easier to maintain.
4. To only breed dogs that are an accurate depiction of the breed:
We breed each dog for the breed standard to produce the appearance, size, and temperament that each breed should have.
5. To breed dogs for betterment the breed:
Although betterment of the breed is our ultimate goal it is a hard business.
There are many variables in this process. We are trying to do this by, using
the first four rules in our mission.
To be clear I am not in this for the money, although I do make money. Most of the money I make gets reinvested back
into my beautiful babies for their care and vet bills all year.
